Project: Concert

Scope: A coming of age story of a young black girl that combats colorism, racism, and ageism on her road to her dream role.

Role: Videographer.

Dion Cummings is a North Carolina native and an alum of Elon University, having earned a M.A. in Interactive Media with a focus with video production, filmmaking, and brand storytelling.

Passionate about the art of storytelling, Dion finds fulfillment in the creation of interactive multimedia pieces that display a combination of creativity and ingenuity. He is producer, director, and cinematographer who’s developing knowledge and expertise in animation and screenwriting.

In addition to his graduate pursuits, Dion is a freelance digital marketer and a co-instructor to a digital marketing course hosted by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
